All quiet on the Vange Front....

Had a wander over to Vange Marsh today to see if anything was happening over there. The water levels are looking the highest I have ever seen them. The last time that they was high covering all islands and vegetation was 2002 ((I think?? where is that old notebook ??)). That was a good year in the spring with a pair of Black Necked Grebes in Full summer plumage and a good Little Gull passage. So lets see what this spring produces.
Today was pretty quiet with just the Water Pipit being the only real note worthy bird, again, there was a year that was really good for Water Pipits, I think it was 98 ?? A couple of Mute Swan's dropped in. Also today: 2 Curlew, 1 Lapwing, several Shoveler, Tufted Duck, 1 Little Grebe blah blah blah.
