Thaialnd (Part 2 Day 4) In transit in Krabi

Photo above and below shows a Mangrove Pitta seen this afternoon from the Mangrove walkway in Krabi. I took the early morning ferry from Koh Lanta to Krabi and it was a beautiful morning, a clear blue sky (not quite a Brisbane blue as Stuart would put it) with a brightly burning sun from above with the gentilist of sea breeze. The sea state was like a mill pond and I just leaned back, listened to the iPod and took in the views of the islands throughout the journey. I am over nighting in Krabi before returning to Bangkok tomorrow and so I had a stroll through the mangroves late this afternoon in the hope to try and get some better photo's of the Mangrove Pitta than previously. Photo above and below shows Crab eating Macaque's that were also present in the mangroves this afternoon. The weather changed for the worse this afternoon and a serious down pour went through preventing me from getting out in to the estuary and so I hope to do this tomorrow morning before heading for Bangkok.
