After a night in Shanghai I took an early morning flight back to Bangkok and was lucky enough to find an empty row of 3 seats and so I laid out with a blanket and a pillow and slept nearly the whole flight. I arrived to a huge over head storm with thunder, lightning and heavy rains. I had another flight booked to fly to the south of Thailand but due to an error of the agency the date was wrong and so it was lost. Something had to go wrong as everything had gone without a hitch so far. I quit whilst I was ahead and headed back for Khao San Road where I got a room and then headed staright for Coffee World where I ordered a large pot of English Breakfast Tea (photo above) and just enjoyed the great taste of a true Tea and not the rubbish I had been drinking for the past 10 days in Yangkou. Electrics are a some what hit & miss affair in Thailand and the book that I am reading during this trip (The Jewel Hunter) a good read I might add, also has other uses and that is it acts as a bloody good prop for keeping the plugs connected to the plug sockets (photo below) The remainder of the day was spent relaxing, starting to catch up wth emails and trying to arrange the next destination, however I am feeling rather tired and slightly sick at the moment and the heat and humidity is also taking its toll on me.
