So, yet again Clare G from the AWSG delivers the ringed recovery details back to me in no time filling any gaps that need filling. Clare also sent me these 2 flag charts. She requested I keep a look out for any Australian ringed Red Knot, which of course I am doing. The above colour chart is pretty straight forward but now I have to start also looking for colour flags that have been clipped at the angles as in the chart below. I think even I am gonna be interested to see how I get on with these ones, especially with the flags in image G below. Can you imagine how difficult this is gonna be on a moving bird, in amongst a flock of others, in wet mud in and out of the water ! Don't fancy my chances too much. Lets see how this one goes........
